About Us

Tom Horvath, the founder and owner of Bayfront Web Design, offers over 30 years experience in the computer hardware and software industry.  Tom began his career in 1970 with Burroughs Corporation where he gained valuable experience in sales, programming, system design and management.  In 1981 he founded Advanced Business Systems, a very successful venture that sold computer hardware, wrote and installed custom accounting software and maintained an installed base in excess of 100 clients.

Bayfront Web Design was formed in October 2000 when Tom sold the hardware, software and maintenance divisions of Advanced Business Systems to Compsoft, Inc.  Since 1999, first with Advanced Business Systems then as Bayfront Web Design, Tom has been launching successful web sites for businesses and organizations interested in advertising their products and services to local and global markets.
